Bangor's Got STYLE

30 September 2014

The beautiful Walled Garden at Bangor Castle got a stylish makeover last month, when models in the latest autumn/winter fashion and beauty trends sashayed down the ‘Style at the Shore’ catwalk. The packed out headline catwalk show, featuring collections from Bangor and Holywood town centre retailers and businesses, was attended by local ladies (and a few gentlemen), caught a glimpse of the new season’s fashions on show over a glass of sparkling Lambrini. Bangor-based Cool FM presenter Pete Snodden, along with Holywood model and Peanut Butter Girl blogger Tiffany Brien, hosted the evening’s proceedings, and Mayor of North Down Councillor Peter Martin even made an appearance to thank guests for coming along, saying: “The style has been absolutely fabulous, and really shows off what great town centre retailers and businesses we actually have in North Down. Therefore, I expect to see you all around the borough looking well styled in your autumn/winter wardrobes, after the inspiration from the catwalk display.”

Big Personalised PANI Thanks To All Awards Sponsors

11 September 2014

In advance of the Publicity Association of Northern Ireland (PANI)’s glittering advertising industry awards ceremony in October, PANI Chair Cathy Martin and PANI Awards Chair Lynne Doherty thanked all eleven award sponsors from across television, outdoor advertising, print media and radio broadcasting for their continued commitment and support by presenting by presenting them with a limited edition print of their relevant media category; a specially commissioned illustration by Kristian Duffy.  The specially commissioned prints represent the theme of the 2014 awards ‘Past, Present, Possibilities’ and encompass both advertising in days gone by and the possibilities that lie ahead. The sponsors were delighted to receive such a unique gift and they are all looking forward to the Gala Night on Friday 17 October.
