Sarah has a degree in Law and French from Queen's University and a postgraduate diploma in Journalism from the University of Ulster. She has worked in print with the Irish News,  in broadcast with local commercial radio and at the BBC.

Sarah joined UTV originally as a radio journalist then began television reporting and has been one of the main anchors of UTV Live for more than five years.

Major stories she has covered include the Royal wedding, the Pope's visit to Britain, the Queen's visit to the Republic, the death of Ian Paisley, the G8 summit and the publication of the Saville report into Bloody Sunday.

Most recently Sarah presented  UTV's coverage of St Patrick's Day and is looking forward to anchoring programmes on the Twelfth of July and the Balmoral Show.

She was awarded CIPR broadcast newcomer in 2008.

Sarah is married to Rory and they have two children- Daniel (3) and Emily (1). She lives in Belfast.

Her interests outside work include yoga, cooking (and eating!) fashion, travel and reading.
