Popular Radio Ulster presenter Alan's great sense of people and their unique colloquialisms have made him a welcome and regular face on the media scene in Northern Ireland. His daily afternoon show - christened the tallest show on radio - allows him to indulge his listeners with his relaxed and comfortable interview technique -conversing, or has he puts it "nattering" effortlessly with everyone from international celebrities such as Dolly Parton, Joan Rivers, Heston Blumenthal and Duncan Bannatyne, right down to a local Tyrone farmer.

A club DJ and promoter at the world-famous Kelly's nightclub in Portrush for over a decade, this 'flair with the hair in the air' truly loves music. He has a distinctive fashion style, a look which is edgy but approachable and fun. And his knowledgeable but light-hearted approach to life is clearly apparent on air although he loves being out and about among people; he's often seen at various events around the north Antrim Coast, including the Milk Cup Football Tournament and for 13 years he has been the voice of the famous Portrush Raft Race.

He is currently the IFA's Ambassador for Irish League Football and can be seen doing warm-up duties at Coleraine FC, the Irish Cup Final and CIS Cup Final, as well as the Tesco Boys Youth Tournament played annually in Dungannon.

Alan also comperes large and small events from fashion shows and golf days to celebrity gala dinners.
